Mindfulness Practices
Learn about how mindfulness practices are being integrated at Clermont Elementary School.
Mindfulness practices encourage us to focus and be in the moment without judgment. Mindfulness strategies promote self-regulation. By teaching children about how their brains work, they can learn to regulate their emotions and reflect and respond rather than react. Awareness of what their triggers are along with learning strategies to promote calm can set students up for success academically, socially and emotionally.
