Clermont Elementary School has held a very special place in the hearts and minds of the Clermont community for over forty years. Our faculty and staff have established a tradition of academic excellence, student integrity and community partnerships. At Clermont we are committed to excellence and strive to prepare all of our students for life in the twenty-first century by providing them with an education that is balanced, challenging and integrated with the arts, Chinese, and technology. 

Our students use technology throughout the school day in their classrooms and have the opportunity to bring their own devices to support learning both at school and at home. 

There is a strong sense of community spirit woven into our school culture. Our parents and business partnerships support our students, teachers, staff and school by providing increased human and financial resources which support our enrichment, remediation and extra-curricular programs and clubs. Our PTA has assisted with enriching and expanding our students’ learning through the creation of an enriched after school program and with their involvement in our learning gardens which support the instructional program.

At Clermont all students practice the character traits of Cooperation, Acceptance, Responsibility and Effort through our Character Education program, CARE. These behaviors foster a positive school climate in which all students can reach their highest level of academic performance and continue in Clermont’s tradition of Excellence in Education for all.
