At Clermont Elementary, the Month of the Military Child concluded with a wear purple day on April 30th.  Dozens of students and staff wore purple to show their support.  Pictured are a few friends next to the poster which was created by military connected students.  Earlier in the month they listened to The Dandelion Seed by Joseph Anthony, and discussed similar characteristics of the dandelion (the official flower of the military child) and military dependents. They both bloom where they are planted and are strong, resilient, tolerant and unique.
