World Culture Day is a culminating event where third grade shows what they learned about Ancient Egypt, China, Rome, and Greece. They begin the day learning even more from a Roman Solider while dressed up from one of the cultures. Next, they have a banquet which showcases food from all four of the cultures. This is followed by a performance that includes singing and dancing. The day ends with the Ancient Greek Olympics. Fun was had by all and rising third graders are anxiously awaiting their turn.
