Every year the 6th grade team takes a trip to George Mason University's The Edge. The focus of the experience is to work on team-building skills such as cooperation, communication and collaboration. The teams go through a number of different activities where the only way to master the skill is by working together. The students enjoy the field trip and learn life-long skills that they can apply both in and out of the classroom!
